SAVAGGI FOUNDER, ROSANNA SCIMECA
A monumental art sculptor, founder and manager of art spaces on the east and west coasts, life long martial artist, chocolate maker, and 1st generation Sicilian American from a family of makers and DIY values.
Savaggi’s Public Arts Project is dedicated to serving the greater Hudson Valley community and beyond with public art installations and immersive experiences for everyone.

Laura Kimpton, born in Hudson Valley is a California-based, American contemporary artist whose work consists of painting, mixed-media installations, and sculpture. Kimpton has a loyal following for her large-scale art installations during the annual Burning Man festival held in Black Rock Desert in Nevada. The installations are word sculptures that convey her philosophy and feeling about societal value and include words such as Believe, Dream, Love, Ego and have been collected around the world.

Hudson Valley based artist, Chris Carnabuci’s memorial monument of freedom fighter, congressman John Lewis debuted on Juneteenth 2021 in Brooklyn, before moving to Union Square, and currently to Newburgh’s Liberty and Broadway intersection where it will remain through 2022.
Presented in collaboration with CONFRONT ART as part of their SEEINJUSTICE series.
