THE TEAM

SAVAGGI FOUNDER ROSANNA SCIMECA

A monumental art sculptor, founder and manager of art spaces on the east and west coasts, life long martial artist, chocolate maker, and 1st generation Sicilian American from a family of makers and DIY values.

Rosanna has been creating large scale art for over two decades, her own and in collaboration with other artists. She has studied marble carving in Pietra Santa, Italy, and has an affinity for exploring the human forms  through various industrial, deteriorating, and performative mediums.  After receiving her MFA she began further exploring her business side into creative entrepreneurship. Thus Savaggi was born. In 2021 Rosanna made her first property purchase, an old historic theatre located in Upstate NY. This theatre is in the process of transformation into a working piece of art— art fabrication theatre and community art space.
